D&D Blogs that I go to for content:
Arcane Eye: This is a blog I regularly go to for deep analysis of D&D mechanics and options. They color-code their commentary so that you have a sense of how useful various features and options are for a build.
Hipsters & Dragons: Like Arcane Eye, this blog is well-written and thoughtful. It has its own listing of Blogs Worth My Time that I happen to not infrequently go to. There are insightful essays on D&D game mechanics, as well as tips on how to improve actual gameplay.
GREYHAWK
Greyhawk Musings: This doesn't seem to be a currently active blog, but it has good historical content, good research and analysis. I suspect I will be be visiting it on some basis as I develop my content for Project: My Living Greyhawk.
Greyhawk Online: This is a wiki with detailed lore about the Greyhawk Campaign throughout its various incarnations. Very useful especially for details about the canonical characters from the campaign.
DMSGUILD CREATORS
Wonderful World of Dark Lords: Thomas and Rachel Kolar from the podcast of the same name. They create short Disney-themed Horror adventures in the style of Ravenloft.
SOURCES
Appendix N: In an appendix to the original DMG, Gary Gygax listed some of his sources for inspiration when creating D&D as an RPG. This is a wiki page for those source materials.
Dragon Dex: Online index to content to be found in the now-defunct print Dragon magazine.
Dragon magazine: Online access via Internet Archive to PDFs or EPUB files for now-defunct print Dragon magazine.
Dungeon magazine index: Online index to content to be found in the now-defunct print Dungeon magazine.
