Languages of Greyhawk: BAKLUNISH language family

 

BAKLUNISH Language Family
(Real World Inspiration: Arabic and other Semitic languages)

Ancient Baklunish: Classical, now-defunct language of the Baklunish peoples; still spoken by isolated pockets of people, namely the nomads of the Plains of the Ulakandar, by the faithful of Al'Akbar. It is the language of all offiial and religious documents west of the Yatil Mountains.
Low Baklunish: Refers to the contemporary, colloquial Baklunish dialects. Descended from Ancient Baklunish, but much changed by time.

SCRIPTS
خط باكلونيش Baklunish is written from right-to-left in the abjad of the same name.
